Need a holiday after a holiday!

Just got back from a holiday in the Costwolds.
I had a great time but it was a nightmare of a holiday.
Zak got ill the day we got there and as a result was very clingy. He made me ill on the second day. Irfan, who was only there for the weekend ended up spraining his ankle playing tennis. To top it all off my tyre burst on the way home and seeing as my lovely car has no spare as standard I had a nightmare of a journey home.
Safely home and glad to be reunited with my lovely husband.

Hand Bags and Glad Rags

This weekend I had a cake order for an 18th birthday. Mille the girl that it was for works at Clay Salon and her mum saw my cards there and wanted to order a cake for her.

Now Mille is a true girl, who loves makeup, handbags and shoes.

After a few discussions with her mother we decided on a cake that was based on a Juicy Couture handbag.

Her friends call her "Minky" so we replaced the Juicy logo with her nickname.

I was really excited about making this cake and was really pleased with the results.

She loved it!

Farm Fun!

So Irfan and I took Zak and my gorgeous niece to Bocketts Farm in Leatherhead the other week and they had a fantastic day, we on the other hand were exhausted.

Sofia is a true horse fanatic so when I saw that they did pony rides, we had to make her dream come true and 3 rides and a lot of tears after, I think we might just have done it.

She was a true natural.

Zak was only pretending but seemed to enjoy it too. Maybe next year he can have a go.

All in all, was a pretty fun day and both the kids loved it.
